Tottenham Hotspurs’ plans to rebuild on the Olympic stadium were dealt a blow by ….. A Spurs fan!
Perspective Research Services ran a poll for their client, award winning pollster Comres, of 1,001 Londoners in just two days.
Sadly for Spurs, some 81% of Londoners were against the proposals to rip up the athletics track.
Richard Sheldrake, founder and managing director of Perspective, and a life-long Spurs fan, said "It’s a disappointment for the Spurs, but every club needs the support of local people – fans are the club’s lifeblood and I’m delighted to have played a part in helping my club to see what Londoners are thinking."
